Organization: Animac
is an international animated film festival organized and produced by the Lleida
Culture Council, managed by Isabel Herguera and co-ordinated by decapacap.
Where and When: Animac will take place in Lleida (Catalonia - Spain) from 20 to 23 February 2003.
Aims: Animac is a non-competitive film festival intended to show the best animated cinema productions of all time, highlighting those which have best enriched and promoted animation cinema's expressive skills. Animac seeks to be a tool to promote the most committed and passionate animated film. Animac aims to present a selection that unifies the most innovating and up-to-date proposals with the most famous animators' works in history.
Registration: To present a film
in Animac you have to send the entry form and a VHS copy of the film to:

Each author may register an unlimited number of works, provided they observe
the registration requirements.
In the case of an irregularity being detected, the organization reserves the
right to reject the related registration.
Films in languages other than Catalan or Spanish must include the dialogue
list. Films must be presented in one of the following formats: 16 mm, 35 mm,
Beta SP Pal or DVD.
The registration period is from 31 June to 31 October 2002.
Once the registration is completed, it shall not be withdrawn.
Promotion: Each registered film
must have one or various stills. These may be used to illustrate Animac's
various promotion and communication materials (catalogue, magazine, press,
web page, television).
The organization is committed to using various promotion materials, while
respecting the conditions indicated in the entry form.
Such conditions shall also be implemented to the rest of promotion materials
included in the registration (posters, cards, banners...)
Selection: Film selection process
shall be carried out by Animac management in accordance with criteria considered
by the same.
The list of films selected shall be relayed to the persons concerned before
15 December 2002.
Selected films should be sent in the optimum format before 7 February.
Those films not selected for the official programme shall be shown in VHS
format in Animac - Menu.
Copies Return and Delivery:
Animac shall assume the responsibility of delivery and return of selected
films.
The period of return ends on 14 March 2003.
Animac shall not be held responsible for any return delays caused by reasons
beyond the organization's control.
Damages: The organization shall not assume any responsibility concerning damages suffered by copies other than in the case of negligence by the organization.
Acceptance of Guidelines: Participation in Animac implies the acceptance of these guidelines.
